St. Patrick's Home of Ottawa is committed to protecting the health and safety of our residents and staff.
As a Long-Term Care Home in Ontario, St. Pat’s continues to follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Long Term Care and Ottawa Public Health in regards to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus):
- Effective March 31, 2023, there are no longer requirements for active screening or rapid testing to enter the home. Everyone entering the home is expected to self-screen for any symptoms. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT IF YOU ARE SICK!
- Effective March, 2024, staff, students, volunteers and support workers are no longer required to wear a mask in all resident areas. Masks are still available at the front entrance for anyone wishing to wear one.
