Support Services

Housekeeping & Laundry

Resident rooms and common areas are maintained by housekeepers from 7 to 3 pm Monday to Friday. Resident rooms get a light clean daily and a big clean weekly. Rooms have limited storage capacity so we ask that resident bring 2 weeks’ worth of clothing only and limit the amount of clutter in their rooms in order to maintain a safe environment for themselves and staff.

The laundry team operates 7 days a week and cleans all your personal items as well as your linen. Any new clothing must be labeled. Please bring new items to reception where they will be sent to laundry for marking. Personal laundry should be robust wash and wear, that is easy to put on and take off. Dry cleaning is available through an external provider, paid by the resident. If you require this service please see the Manager of support services.

Culinary Delights (Menu)

At St Patrick’s home we provide a rotating 3 week menu that meets Canada’s food guide as well as resident likes and dislikes. Menus are reviewed seasonally by resident’s council and changed as needed. Click here for current menu.
